I've been here more than once and their food is rlly good but the only downside is that the waiting time for food is long

First time at Chiflez and it did not disappoint. I wasn't sure about coming here because I read some of the negative reviews but decided to come anyway and so glad I did! Our waitress Jil was super attentive and sweet- not just her but all of the waitstaff continued to check on us to see if we needed anything. We ordered food for the kids and it came out right away. Order was big enough for my kids to share. They got the grilled chicken, rice, beans, maduros and fries (freshly cut fries ). I ordered the bolon mixto- so fresh and crispy! I also had the seafood soup it was delicious. My husband had the red snapper he enjoyed that as well. We also ordered the cow feet soup. Everything was really good especially the drinks! I highly recommend chiflez!

I rave about this place all the time, even though I've only been once--it's hard to be a regular at your favorite spots when you're not a local to the neighborhood, Queens is too massive! But honestly, this is hands-down my all-time favorite. The seafood chaufa is absolutely incredible. It's a solid 10 across the board--portion, flavor, plating, you name it. They bring it out in a pan, which not only makes it feel like you're getting a great deal, but you are! The variety of seafood was perfect, and there was a generous amount of everything, making it ideal for seafood lovers. I visited around 1 PM, and there was plenty of seating available. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area, but the 7 train stops right in front, so hopping on the MTA is definitely the way to go. The service was quick and efficient, and I loved the artwork on the walls--really beautifully showcases the richness of Latin cultures.

Friends don't walk... RUN TO CHIFLEZ!! First of all the customer service is incredible. Joanna is such a great host and waitress! Her attentiveness and hospitality was so on point! The food was amazing!! I recommend the Arepas de Yuca con Carne. The steaks and let's not forget the Pisco Sour and Bulldog Margaritas! This is a a little hidden gem in Queens don't forget to visit!!!

First time eating there. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Excellent service. Food is amazing and price is reasonable.

Great customer service, got the Peruvian ceviche and avocado salad. To drink I got the mango margarita. For the price I wanted more motet in the ceviche or more choclo. The drink was strong and refreshing. The avocado salad was filling as well, great portions. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Outdoor and indoor dining options.

Chifles, I had you bookmarked for a while and I was super excited to try this place and I guess I'm content with my experience. I know it's sounds confusing but I just don't know how I feel about this place. I guess I'll break it down: Location: I guess this is my least favorite part, right on Roosevelt Ave and 95th Street, parking is a pain and this area just gives me anxiety Food: We ordered happy hours drinks for $5, my sister got a passion fruit mojito which was AMAZING but my passion fruit margarita was not good at all, in fact I took one sip and just left it there. For meals I have the patacón which is made with plantain, sautéed steak, avocado and and sweet plantains! This was the highlight of our meal. We also ordered the skirt steak with rice and beans and it comes with a salad. The steak was cooked to perfection but was a little too salty for me. The rice and beans arrived cold at the table. We also ordered a side of sweet plantain with cheese, this was good. Service: the service was weird, we first had a guy server then a woman took out order, then she disappeared and the guy took over again. Service was: confusing Ambiance: it's just a weird place, not sure if it's a bakery, or dinner or restaurant, I just couldn't figure it out and I wanted to Overall, I'll def come back for the patacón and a passion fruit mojito if I happen to be in The area. Our bill was $58 which included a 15 percent Trip! We added a little extra to make it 20 percent though!
